Health & Wellbeing
Being a parent is one of the most important jobs there is. It is also one of the hardest. Here at The Priory School we will do our best to support both your child and the family during this difficult time. We are aware that every child needs to keep up to date with their education, however we are also aware that this is a time where we need to support each other’s mental health.
Schools offer much more than just an education and we want to continue this as we go through this second period of a national lockdown. It is important students log onto tutor time each day so they can see their friends and have contact with their tutees. Lessons throughout the day have a good mix of live online learning and work set in advance. If students go through their timetable as if they were in school this gives a sense of normality and keeps a routine going. Don’t forget to take regular breaks and include some exercise.
This page contains many links to information for both students and parents to support mental health and wellbeing. Including activities to try, information to read with helpful ideas in how to support wellbeing as well as links to help keep you safe on line. Remember Kooth is available on the website as an external login for any one who wants to talk anonymously or contact your Tutor or Head of Year or report any concerns through Tootoot.
